Practical
Training

We provide your pracitical training of up to 80 hours. You do not need to source this externally!
Students
must complete a minimum of 80 hours practical training consisting
of:
- Training
with a qualified Instructor at one of Command Dog Training School's
venues on either a Saturday day for 1-2 hours, a Wednesday evening
for 1-2 hours or a combination of either days.
- Practical
workshop (Instruction skills session) on a Sunday at DogZone (7
hours). Furthermore, students will need to provide an untrained
dog for participation in a Basic Obedience program as part of
their practical training requirements. Recognition of Prior Learning
(RPL) is accepted only if it is within the course's philosophy & guidelines.
- Training an untrained dog in Basic - Intermediate level of training includes basic retrieve and off-lead training
