Canine Management Workshops

Dog Trainers Australia provides workshops to small & large organisations requiring SME's (Subject Matter Experts) on canine behaviour. These workshops are designed as part of OH&S training for employees who come into contact with dogs as part of their duties in partuclar AMO's (Animal Management Officers).

In March - April 2006, Training Director Basil Theofanides, delivered our DogSure - Dealing with Aggressive Dogs training program across Melbourne and regional Victoria as part of the Bureau of Animal Welfare's AMO Regional Training Seminars. These successful seminars provided a valuable insight for AMO's on identifying behaviours and dealing with aggressive dogs including their capture & transport.

DogSure workshop has been provided to numerous organisations including:

  • South West Water Authority for their meter readers
  • AGL (Australian Gaslight Company) meter readers
  • Australian Animal Aid Trust - Kennel Staff
  • Whitehorse City Council Local Laws
  • Boroondara City Council Local Laws
  • Macedon Ranges Local Laws
